The many ways you can use our Castile soap (because there are a lot of ways!)

But, first things first. Let’s make a quick introduction to Castile soap for all newcomers. From washing your vegetables to your home to yourself, this amazing multi-purpose soap does it all. Originally made with olive oil, we decided to opt for cold-pressed Canadian organic sunflower seed oil. Not only are you supporting Canadian farmers by using it, but you are also enriching your skin with antioxidants such as vitamin E, carotenoids, and moisturizing omegas. Always soaping up a generous lather, our Castile line is blended with coconut oil to leave your skin feeling fresh and soft – all while being gentle enough for even the most sensitive skin.

So, what exactly can you do with this amazing product? Here are a few ideas we’ve compiled for you.

All-purpose cleaning soap:

Put 2 cups of water in a spray bottle. Add ¼ cup of unscented Castile soap and between 15 to 20 drops of your favourite essential oil. We suggest you go with orange, lemon or lavender, but really, it’s up to you! You could also put your Martha Stewart hat on and mix different scents to create your signature scent. The possibilities are endless.

Dishwashing soap:
Simply drop some Castile soap on your dirty dishes, scrub and rinse. That simple. And, out go the chemicals and useless ingredients you don’t really need to have clean dishes.

Dog shampoo:
Did your dog go mud-rolling again? No worries, we have the solution! Simply mix one part Castile soap to 3 parts water and there you have it, the puppy saver!

Floor cleaner:

The All-purpose cleaning soap by excellence strikes yet again. Add ¼ cup of Castile soap to a bucket of warm water and give your floors some love. Once again, you could add essential oils to the mix for an even fresher result.

Body wash and shampoo:
If you use a washcloth in the shower, swap your body wash for Castile soap. Not only will your budget thank you, but also will your body (including the environment) for fewer chemicals.

As for the shampoo, well, there’s no need for a recipe. Simply mix with a little water and work into wet hair. Castile soap is strong enough to cleanse the scalp of excess sebum, but gentle enough for your hair.

Unsurprisingly, we could go on and on, but these are probably the most common ways people use Castile soap. We’re admitting it: add this soap-er-hero to your life and never look back. Because it’s that good!
