    Hydroxyapatite (Calcium Hydroxyapatite)

    A naturally occurring mineral that makes up most of our teeth and bones.

    In oral care, hydroxyapatite helps support enamel by providing a biomimetic (body-like) source of calcium. It is widely used as a fluoride alternative in modern toothpaste formulations.

    We use a micro-hydroxyapatite approach rather than nano-sized particles, focusing on a larger particle structure that stays closer to the natural mineral form found in teeth.

    Labrador Tea (Ledum Groenlandicum Extract)

    A uniquely Canadian wild plant traditionally used by Indigenous communities.

    Labrador tea is a resilient northern shrub that grows in cold climates and is naturally rich in plant compounds that help soothe and protect the skin.

    We use this ingredient to highlight Canadian biodiversity and bring a distinctly local botanical into modern personal care.

  • Mimosa Flower Wax

    Mimosa Flower Wax (Acacia Decurrens Flower Wax)

    A soft plant wax derived from mimosa flowers.

    It helps give structure and glide to formulas while contributing a smooth, silky feel on the skin. It is commonly used in natural deodorant and antiperspirant systems for its ability to support texture and application.

    Despite its delicate floral origin, it plays a key functional role in solid formulations.

    Fun fact: this is also the flower of International Women’s Day.

    A skin-identical lipid naturally found in the skin’s own moisture barrier.

    Plant-based squalene is a lightweight, fast-absorbing emollient that helps replenish and protect the skin without leaving a greasy residue. It supports softness and elasticity while helping maintain hydration.

    It is widely recognized in skincare for its compatibility with human skin.
